H.Medjedovic vs V.Royer prediction

I'm impressed by Medjedovic. The Serbian isn't a small guy; Hamad's height allows him to unleash powerful forehands, and his serve is nothing to scoff at. Importantly, Medjedovic knows how to play on clay courts. He's kicked off the new season with a strong record of 10-2. He's even nabbed a trophy in Italy on the slower surface. Last time around in Barcelona, Medjedovic took down Trungelliti, De Minaur, and Borges. He even had a fighting chance against Rublev, although the higher-ranked opponent eventually outperformed him. However, facing a top-tier adversary like the Russian, Medjedovic, ranked 67th, still managed to secure 63% of points on his first serve, which is quite impressive.

I'm not holding my breath for any heroics from Valentine in Rome. The Frenchman is quite an unpredictable player; he can take on serious opponents when he's on a roll. But when he's not, you're in for a rough time. Not too long ago, Royer stumbled in Madrid's first round against Tabilo. And in Provence, he faltered in the second match against Coppejans. In that last game, he could only secure 36% of points on the second serve and ended up losing his serve once. Royer sometimes overplays in lengthy rallies, going on the offensive and missing out on counterattacks. In my opinion, the guy might find himself in hot water against the aggressive Medjedovic.
