This will be the first encounter between these two teams in over a decade. Back in a friendly clash in summer 2016, Korea emerged victorious 2-1 against the Czechs, and considering the circumstances, a similar outcome can't be ruled out this time around.
I'm going with an individual total over from the Asians here. When compared to the Czechs, Hong Myung-Bo’s squad sports significantly more experience in recent years at World Cups, having reached the playoffs in Qatar four years ago by defeating Portugal in a crucial game (2-1), and scoring at least two goals in two out of their three group matches. Considering the Czech team’s defensive struggles (allowing six goals in their last four matches), the caliber and experience of the "Asian Tigers’" attacking front which surpasses Koubek’s defensive line, and their lethal counterattacking playstyle, it's not far-fetched to foresee at least one Korean goal in this game.
